It just doesn’t get any better than this. This is the time to be in Montana. Flathead, Blackfoot, and Missouri Rivers and fishing great. Rainbows, Cutthroat, and Browns. Pick your destination and lets go. The Flathead has dropped significantly and is fishing great. The Blackfoot is another great Freestone river if you interested. Spent the last 4 days on the Mighty MO. It if fishing really well. PMD’s, Caddis, and even a few Tricos are showing up. Day fly fishing can be fantastic. Flathead River is fishing well also. Caught 5 cutthroat and 1 bull trout today with Ken and his daughter Maddie. What a great day and fantastic weather as well. Lots of water is coming down the Flathead still but there were tons of bugs today. Golden stones, PMD’s, Sallies, for the most part. We caught fish in the slowest water you could find. Had a great day fishing with Tom and Frank. These guys are from down south and they prefer the weather to be a little nicer than what it was today. Had plenty of fish in the boat.
