FROM THE VISE OF JOHNSRUD OUTFITTERS

PURPLE LIGHTNING BUGS!

Here is a few purple lightning bugs that I tied up today.  I love to use this pattern for early spring and late fall.  This is a great pattern for Blue Wing Olives (BWO) when they start popping.  My wife today used that term “popping”  when she asked: When do the BWO start popping?  I though is was pretty cool and I felt proud of how far my wife has come in the fly fishing world!  Tie a few of these bad boys up for this spring.
